Pinto Pedals against Childhood Cancer with help from the Contador Foundation

The first edition of the Family Bike March against Childhood Cancer organized by the Mirasur School, the Pinto City Council and the Alberto Contador Foundation was held April 20, with the participation of more than half a thousand people, adults and children. It was a three-kilometer route with an emotional symbolic ribbon cutting by Sara, who is recovering from this illness.

The Foundation made available to some attendees both a handbike and a tandem to be able to bring the reality of adapted cycling closer in a more experiential way.

Volunteers from the AMP Pinto, collaborators of the Bicis para la Vida project, were also among those attending a march that featured the presence and participation of Alberto Contador. All proceeds from the test go entirely to the Asociación Firefighters Help for childhood cancer research.
