Paul Lapeira Wins Classic Loire Atlantique

Paul Lapeira: “I already had a plan to attack where I did it”

“After a first attempt to break away, I came out alone a little over twenty kilometers from the finish. I already had a plan to attack where I did it, but one lap before the finish. Since the sensations were good, I didn’t want to take any risks and I left with a lap and a half to go. The group came back really close ten kilometers from the finish but I believed in it and I gave everything I had. At the finish, there was also a nice group finish with Valentin (Retailleau) 7th and Jordan (Labrosse) 9th, I know the team did a great job to prevent me from being caught and I owe them a good part of my victory!”
