Modern Adventure Pro Cycling DS Alex Howes commented:
“You only get to start the first chapter of a team once, so to do so at a UCI race like this at this level is pretty special. AlUla is the first race where we can start putting the hard work into place, but we’re heading there with realistic expectations around what we can achieve, with both excitement and apprehension.
“We’ve got a balanced squad, with Riley we have an option for the stages which could come down to a sprint, whilst the climbs will be a good test of the legs for everyone to see where we’re at. Stefan got a solid result here last year and brings some valuable experience around what the guys can expect. It’ll be a great opportunity to put the Modern Adventure Pro Cycling team on the map officially for the first time.”
