Last week the UCI announced a crackdown on pros and all licensed UCI racers competing in unsanctioned races.
It’s been controversial. USA Cycling said yesterday they are delaying enforcement until 2014 in America. Last year some riders were fined. It’s been expected to make life difficult for race promoters if they could only have unlicensed amateurs at their events.
