“Today’s race was really amazing. After what we did at the Tour Down Under, it’s impressive that we were able to do this in a one-day race like the Cadel Road Race. The team did a really good job from the start, positioning me well at the bottom of the climb. We tried to make it easy to save the maximum amount of energy for the final and my teammates stayed with me and brought me back in position as fast as possible. Then I just went all out and try to take the best wheel to finish everyone’s work.”

At the U23 Cyclo-cross World Championships held this Saturday in Hulst (Netherlands), Aubin Sparfel came very close to victory and finished on the second step of the podium. Léo Bisiaux also secured a top-10 result, finishing 8th.
