Roglic Jumps Ahead

Serre Chevalier, Wednesday, 19th July – Five years after starting cycling at the age of 22, former ski jumper Primoz Roglic became the first Slovenian to win a Tour de France stage as he soloed to victory in Serre-Chevalier after riding Alberto Contador off with 6.5km left in the ascent to the col du Galibier. Chris Froome retained the overall lead but Fabio Aru lost his second place to Rigoberto Uran.
