Tom Boonen will not be at the start of the Tour due to problems with his tendons.
The AFLD will not be doing the doping controls at the Tour de France. The UCI in conjunction with the AMA will be in charge. There will be independent observers. They will be using some methods from the AFLD.
Kim Kirchen has come out of his coma but obviously will not be starting this year’s Tour.
