Michael Valgren (EF Education–EasyPost) claimed victory this Wednesday in Andalo, the finish of Stage 17 of the 2026 Giro d’Italia, after launching a decisive attack just over 1 km from the line following a long and powerful breakaway. The Dane beat Andreas Leknessund (Uno-X Mobility) and Damiano Caruso (Bahrain Victorious), while Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) comfortably retained the Maglia Rosa.
