Former Danish cyclist and almost Tour de France winner Michael Rasmussen has written a new book, “Yellow Fever” due to be out next week.
In his book he claims that the entire Rabobank team was doping as well as at CSC. He also claims to have shown Ryder Hesjedal how to take EPO in 2003. Some former teammates who he fingered in his book (Oscar Freire and Juan-Antonio Flecha) have demanded retractions. He has re-worded his allegations to say that “there was organized doping but it did not include all the riders.” He said he personally never saw either of those two dope.
In an interview in Denmark he said that in 2007 100% of the team was doping, though not everyone used the same products.
