Jeannie Longo is suing the AFLD, the French Anti-Doping Agency. She’s asking over 1 million euros, both for being included in a list of targeted athletes of 2012 and 2013 as well as the 2011 claims about not providing her whereabouts three times. She had been able to prove that she hadn’t been notified of the violations regarding her schedule. There was also a L’Equipe story about her husband supposedly purchasing EPO. The judge doesn’t seem to be cutting her any slack so far, claiming she’s part of a sport with doping problems and at her age of 55, being able to compete at such a high level is atypical.
