These images were captured by a fan (Albert Secall) during today’s stage. As if Chris Froome wasn’t having a bad enough race, this gendarme pulled him off his bike as he was descending to the team bus. The #1 pinned to his bike apparently meant nothing to the cop.
“Fans” also were seen grabbing Thomas as well as booing today. On Alpe d’Huez Froome was shoved by a “fan”, on the climb to Mende someone threw water on him and the driver of the team bus had a bucket of water thrown at him through the window of the bus.
