The DECATHLON CMA CGM cycling team presented the group that will take to the roads of the 2026 World Tour with one goal in mind: to be a top performer in the biggest events on the international calendar and rank among the five greatest teams in the world.
The season is built on the desire to create a sustainable, high-performance movement in line with the sporting expertise of DECATHLON, the team’s new owner.
A TEAM SUPPORTED BY COMMITTED STRATEGIC PARTNERS
In 2026, the team will benefit from the engagement of its title partners, DECATHLON and CMA CGM.
Van Rysel, the main partner, will continue its involvement at the heart of the technical and performance elements of the team.
This collective dynamic is also reinforced by the arrival of Adecco as an official partner alongside Armand Thiery.
All of these partners will consolidate the team’s foundations in the long term and are a testament to the attractiveness and solidity of its sporting ambitions.

A PROMISING 2025 SEASON
Buoyed by a particularly impactful 2025 season, marked by 26 victories and 7th place in the UCI world rankings, the team has confirmed its lasting position among the new forces in the international peloton.
It intends to capitalise on its sporting strength, consolidated organisation, and the collective energy of its partners to take another step forward, allowing it to approach 2026 with confidence and determination.
A LONG-TERM AMBITION
DECATHLON and CMA CGM share a common ambition: to promote a French team at the highest level of world cycling.
Supported by all of the team’s partners, they want to build a project based on strong values – sporting integrity, high standards, and rider development – as part of a long-term vision.
Javier LOPEZ SEGOVIA, CEO of DECATHLON:
“At Decathlon, we have been supporting cyclists for nearly 50 years, from a child’s first ride to World Tour races. For the 2026 season, we are starting a new chapter alongside CMA CGM, with the aim of building a solid long-term project step by step, focused on rider development and performance accessible to all.
We are also very pleased to welcome Adecco as a new official partner, which will strengthen our structure.
Behind every rider are 100,000 Decathlonians around the world cheering them on. We look forward to experiencing this season with them and seeing how far the team will take our colours, race after race.”
Rodolphe SAADÉ, Chairman and CEO of CMA CGM:
“We are proud to become co-sponsor of the Decathlon CMA CGM team. This partnership is built on strong values we share with Decathlon: family roots, a long-term vision, and a commitment to hard work. We are therefore engaging over the long run to support a project we believe in and help the team reach a decisive new stage. Our ambition is clear: to quickly place the team among the world’s best and to aim for victory in the Tour de France.”
Dominique Serieys, General Manager of the DECATHLON CMA CGM Team:
“We are approaching this new season with a clear ambition: to establish ourselves permanently in the top five teams in the world and demonstrate that the DECATHLON CMA CGM team now has the means to compete at the forefront in all areas. The five Monuments are a major focus of our sporting project: we want to be aggressive, aim for a top five finish in Paris-Roubaix, and go for victory in one of them this season.
Our ambition for the Grand Tours is just as strong: to achieve two top-five finishes in the overall classification and thus demonstrate consistency at the highest level. And of course, with the recruitment of a great sprinter like Olav Kooij, we have a strong and symbolic goal: to win the green jersey at the Tour de France.
Thanks to the progress of our riders, the strengthening of our staff, and the solid support of our partners, we will reach a new milestone and take the team’s ambitions to the highest level.”
Nicolas Pierron, CEO de Van Rysel:
“While 2025 marked a milestone in VAN RYSEL’s history with the successful introduction of our complete ecosystem (bikes, helmets, glasses, and clothing), 2026 will be a year of confirmation and shared excellence. Our ambition remains unchanged: to be a key player in the performance of the Decathlon CMA CGM team.
This year, VAN RYSEL will complete its range by providing the team with home trainers, water bottles, and bottle cages, thereby strengthening our presence in all of the riders’ daily needs.
In line with this same philosophy of maximum performance, we have chosen to integrate SRAM, one of the absolute benchmarks in the international peloton. This strategic choice is the result of our desire to offer the best: an innovative, incredibly lightweight, and ultra-high-performance drivetrain, in line with the VAN RYSEL philosophy and our quest for excellence at the highest level.
This philosophy of co-creation is perfectly embodied in our new RCR-X helmet. Designed for time trials, tested and approved by riders in 2025, it symbolizes our method: developing products by pros, for pros.
In 2026, we are moving forward alongside the team with a simple conviction: high standards attract performance. Together, we want to make our mark on the season and write tomorrow’s victories.”
