
CUPRA will support Movistar Team riders across all categories and competitions throughout the 2026 and 2027 seasons, strengthening its presence in the world of cycling.
The brand will be present in all the World Tour races: Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a España and Tour de France, which in 2026 will start for the first time ever in Barcelona.
The CUPRA Terramar, CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon SP will be part of the peloton during the 250 race days per season across men’s, women¡s, U23 and gravel squads.
The CUPRA Raval, the brand’s next generation Electric Urban Car, will also play a key role during the races and fan zones, offering a range of activities and experiences
Martorell, 12.12.25 – CUPRA is joining Movistar Team as Official Car, bringing its passion for racing to the world of professional cycling. The team, the oldest professional cycling squad in the world and the only Spanish team in the UCI World Tour (Union Cycliste Internationale), will feature CUPRA vehicles across all its categories: men’s, women’s, U23 and gravel.
Throughout the 2026 and 2027 seasons, the brand will be present at the most iconic cycling events, including the three Grand Tours: Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a España and Tour de France, which in 2026 will hold its Grand Départ in Barcelona for the first time in history, reinforcing CUPRA’s connection to its hometown and marking a historic moment for the sport.

An alliance on and off race
CUPRA’s cars will provide technical and logistical support to Movistar Team riders during a total of 250 race days per season. The CUPRA Terramar, CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA León SP will be equipped to accompany the peloton in competitions worldwide, including the three Grand Tours: Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a España and Tour de France, which kicks off in Barcelona on July 4. In addition, the CUPRA Raval, the brand’s most radical urban electric car, will take center stage in fan zones, bringing innovation closer to cycling fans.

This alliance will have a global impact: the Tour de France alone reaches an estimated audience of 16 million spectators on-site and 500 million viewers on TV, giving CUPRA the opportunity to connect with millions of cycling fans.
Supporting sport
With this collaboration, CUPRA keeps building its connection with sports while reinforcing its connection to Barcelona. This alliance adds to the brand’s global partnerships with FC Barcelona and the 37th America’s Cup, its presence in the FIA Formula E World Championship through the CUPRA KIRO team, and the CUPRA Padel Tribe, which brings together some of the best players on the circuit.
