Sylvain Chavannel has decided to stop racing the Tour de France so he can rest up for the Olympics. He’s hoping to do well in the Olympic time trials. It’s the first time in 12 Tours that he’s not finishing the race. He’s suffering from bronchitis and the antibiotics are taking a toll.
