Chris Horner crashed in the Tour of the Basque Country and had to abandon after injuring his shoulder.

Lance vs the French continues.  Apparently as soon as it was known that Lance was training in the south of France last month, a French AFLD agent was dispatched to check up on him.  Lance had just returned from an all day training ride to find this guy on his doorstep.  He and Bruyneel asked to see his credentials which were apparently not up to par.  Bruyneel phoned the UCI to make sure he was legit. While awaiting an answer, Lance asked the agent if he could take a shower.  The agent said yes.  After the shower, the agent’s credentials were confirmed so Lance gave him the urine, blood and hair samples requested.  All samples came back negative.  Now the AFLD is claiming he wasn’t cooperative and are trying to impose sanctions.  Lance says he’s undergone 24 tests since he announced his comeback with no hassles.  This is the only one in France and already it’s a headache.  It makes you wonder if maybe Floyd was right.  Lance should be sure he doesn’t let the next agent out of his sight until everything is completed.
