The two champions confirm their participation and launch the program dedicated to children
Monaco, 17 October 2026 – There’s one way to announce a participation: a list of names, a date, a program. And then there’s the way they did it, on camera, especially for BEKING’s social media with the smile of those who know something beautiful is about to happen. Urška and Tadej announce they will be at BEKING on November 29, 2026, in Monaco for the sixth edition, and they give a first glimpse of this year’s novelty: a program that takes children from the edge of the track to the heart of the day.
Kids Ambassadors: from the crowd to the stage
The 2026 novelty is the Kids Ambassadors Programme, an initiative that gives the youngest people the chance to experience the event first-hand. The selected children will play an active role in BEKING’s organisation, giving them a voice and enabling them to contribute to the event’s projects and create a positive impact.
“We’re super excited to run another edition of BEKING,” they say. “This year we’re launching a new kids ambassadors program giving our fans a chance to be part of the event in a very special way,” continues Tadej. “Kids will have the chance to meet the pros, join them on stage and present their country or get involved in the kids course throughout the day,” concludes Urška.
The participation of Pogačar and Žigart fits the BEKING tradition: champions are not guests of honor posing for a photo, but athletes who get on the track, ride alongside children, and put their visibility at the service of causes no ranking can measure. To date, the association’s initiatives have raised and donated proceeds to foundations and charitable organisations in Monaco and around the world. , and today’s two names are the first of a long list to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The day of November 29th
Men’s and women’s criterium, Pro-Am, the ride with children and champions, and the gala dinner: a full day in which cycling does what it does best — bringing people together.
Information on the Kids Ambassadors programme and how to participate is available on the event’s social media account.
And if the champions’ video has one message, it’s a single one: as they put it themselves, come and join us.
