
Renowned cycling photographer Cor Vos passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at home in Rotterdam, Netherlands after suddenly becoming ill and died at the hospital. Cor was 77 years old.
Cor started as an amateur cyclist and then photographer. His first Tour de France as a photographer in 1975 when there were only 7 photographers on motorcycles in the race. He came to the US to photograph the Coors Classic in 1985.
He and his wife Carla hired other photographers while running their photo agency. He had been planning to retire next year.
