BMW Louyet Group spoils the sport directors with new 5 Series cars

For the second year in a row, the Intermarché-Wanty Gobert Matériaux team will travel around the world with vehicles provided by the BMW Louyet group. In addition to the five BMW 3 Series Touring and four BMW X2 made available to paramedics, the BMW Louyet Group will also supply four BMW 5 Series to Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Matériaux sport directors to follow the races in 2021. Sports directors Hilaire Van der Schueren and Steven De Neef will inaugurate their new BMW 520d Touring on the roads of Omloop het Nieuwsblad, this Saturday, where also the race direction will be equipped by BMW Belux.

The Louyet Group is a family business serving its customers for more than half a century and a loyal partner of BMW. Its central values are seriousness, reliability and proximity, notably thanks to its seven sites in Brussels, Charleroi, La Louvière, Sambreville, Marcinelle, Tournai and Sint-Pieters Leeuw. Its success lies in the quality of the environment in which employees carry out their work, equipped with the latest technologies, but also in respect of the values of the benchmark automotive group that is BMW. You will always be received in the best conditions. L. Louyet. Reliability has a name. Laurent Louyet.

Laurent Louyet (CEO of the Louyet Group):
“BMW Louyet is pleased to support Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Materiaux once again in 2021. By taking over the World Tour license from CCC, the team demonstrated its ambition and the project it aims to build for the future. Likewise, the Louyet Group continues to grow after the acquisition of BMW Brussels in Evere. Sportsmanship, team spirit and perfectionism are essential values, both for the team and for our group. I particularly look forward to this year’s Tour de France, which we will experience together for the first time as a sponsor. My grandfather himself won two stages in the 1930s, which is why cycling is in our family’s blood. BMW Louyet wishes Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Materiaux all the best and looks forward to this new season at the highest level. “

Jean-François Bourlart (General Manager Intermarché-Wanty Gobert Matériaux):
“Although we are in the world of cycling, cars play an essential role in our operations. Throughout the year, we drive our vehicles around the world to offer our riders the best possible support during competitions and training. Like our structure, the Louyet Group is omnipresent in Belgium. We are very proud that a solid partner like the Louyet Group wishes to contribute to the progress of the team. The new BMW 5 Series cars are a perfect complement to the 3 Series Touring and BMW X2 models that we were fortunate enough to have so far. They are rugged vehicles, ideal for following any race, on any terrain, in any weather condition.”
