The 2014 Tour de France is rumored to start in Florence, Italy, which home to Italian Tour legend Gino Bartali. 2014 will be the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bartali who won in 1938 and 1948. It’s also expected that the Tour will pass the leaning Tower of Pisa, Novi Ligure and near Castellania, where Fausto Coppi was born. Coppi won the Tour in 1949 and 1952.
