Paris Nice Stage 8: Nice-Nice
Final day of Paris Nice.
Contador made his move attacking on the Col d’Eze. He was joined by Frank Schleck and Antonio Colom. At 5 k to go they had 17 seconds on the peloton. Colom had the most energy and took the stage. Alberto managed to regain only 4 of the seconds he lost yesterday and finished overall in 4th place. Luis Leon Sanchez held on to the yellow jersey and the leader’s title for the 2009 Paris Nice.
